About four months ago, Glenn Beck began a new series of one-on-one in depth interviews that he releases on Saturdays. They’re often over an hour and you really get far more than you’d ever get on a national news network. They are also released on YouTube later in the week in video format.

I’ve been quite impressed with the series as several of his guests have been on the other side of the political spectrum. The interviews are usually really top notch. I know a lot of people think that Beck is a clown, but I’ve followed the guy for years. In my opinion, he’s one of the better interviewers I’ve ever seen and he’s no idiot.

He recently had on Dr. Carol Swain. I had not heard of her before, but she has an incredible story.

Glenn sits down to have a conversation with Dr. Carol Swain, who serves as a conservative television analyst and a Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University. They talk about her path from a high school dropout and teenage mother to becoming a renowned University professor and public intellectual. They also discuss Dr. Swain’s passion for empowering others to raise their voices up in the public square while holding current politicians accountable in today’s social and political climate.
